Paul Kitano

Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering, University of Nevada, Reno, 1983.

Paul Kitano has over 22 years of experience in the semiconductor industry where he specialized in product verification, test, and development of audio and communication integrated circuits. Paul has developed production test solutions for mixed signal devices for various semiconductor companies including Gould/AMI, Telmos, and PMC/Sierra. In addition, he provided engineering and production support for local and SE Asia production facilities. Paul’s engineering skill set evolved into Applications Engineering and Engineering Management. While working for LTX Corporation, he helped drive new hardware interfaces for high speed audio ADC/DAC convertor testing.

Paul’s focus was providing hardware support for customer installations of production ATE equipment. Later, Paul moved from Applications Engineering to Applications Management of hardware and software engineers for latest generation of high pin count, high-speed, mixed signal (analog and digital audio) ATE systems at Credence Systems Corporation. His team managed the release of multiple generations of Quartet/Octet test systems and provided field applications support to the sales team during systems installations. Paul’s skill set includes speaker innovation, tear down expertise, 3D CAD and audio systems integration.
